Users’ Facebook data integrated into film

Thanks to its television-friendly use of filmed actors, Channel 4 was eager to promote The Curfew on air.
To this end we created a series of four 30 second spots introducing each of the main characters in the game.
Additionally, we created a longer Party Political Broadcast piece. This dynamically integrates with the viewer’s Facebook account, drawing in profile pictures and details of their friends and seamlessly blending them with the in-film graphics.
The four 30 second spots were filmed in the same way as the main game, on green screen with 3D environments added in post-production.
The Party Political broadcast was filmed in situ in Brighton, with layers of motion graphic effects added to the set monitor in post-production.
All of the videos were used as trailers and supporting materials in the launch campaign.
