These artificial stars were created for a teen talent competition where the youth audience competed through YouTube to become part of an animated rock band, with plans to perform at Radio 1′s One Big Weekend and release a single.

The project included development of a fully animated rock band based on the competition winners, live 3D holographic projection and online voting integrated with YouTube. All visual content was delivered in HD for TV, web and live performances.

Sadly, the BBC’s sudden closure of all competition-based projects that year led to the cancellation of this enormous project halfway through production.
