Littleloud and So TV collaborated in both the commissioning and production phases of the hit CBBC series Pixelface, which focuses on the social lives of video game characters.

The TV series and online games were closely linked – the games were mentioned frequently in the show, and players could choose to play as any of the main characters. Jokes, references and characters from the series extended into the narrative of the games, and viewers could enter secret codes from the TV show to unlock bonuses and rewards in the online arcade.

Pixelface is a benchmark in collaboration between an established TV indie and a multiplatform production partner. Littleloud produced the ‘in game’ CG sequences within the show, as well as additional visual effects and motion graphics.

The series and the supporting online world have been successfully sold to international markets.
